Madam He mainly practises in foreign-related legal services which comprise of acting fo foreign clients in litigation or arbitration in both foreign and domestic courts or arbitration tribunal; assisting foreign clients in their inbound investment  and Chinese clients in their investment abroad (which includes setting up of companies or mergers and acquisitions etc.),  assisting local companies in their initial public offering transactions for fund raising on the HK, Singapore and U.S. security markets, compliance management, and intellectual property protection for technology enterprises, etc.  

Madam. He has assisted a number of domestic enterprises in restructuring and listing in the Hong Kong and Singapore capital markets as well as on the New Equities Exchange and Quotations in Beijing. Madam. He also provided  comprehensive service to companies from America, Europe, Latin America, Southeast Asia on investing and establishing companies in China, by way of  equity or asset acquisition.

Under the leadership of Madam He, Shanghai Veritas Law Corporation has established friendly cooperative relationships with a number of major accounting and legal firms from the United States, Germany, France and Singapore etc., and established an extensive international services network.

Madam. He is a permanent resident of Singapore where she lived and worked with several reputable Singaporean law firms as a PRC legal counsel for 10 years. Prior to her migration, she worked in the Heilongjiang Press and Publication Bureau and Harbin Municipal People’s court of Heilongjiang Province .In 2007, Madam. He founded Shanghai Veritas Law Corporation.

Significant matters which Madam He handled :

1.Representing a State-owned enterprise in a JV agreement disputes with the SIAC.

2.Representing a Singapore listed company in its property dispute arbitration in Shanghai, applying for enforcement of arbitration award, and selling a piece of land under injunction at an auction successfully.

3.Representing the Tianjin subsidiary of a Singapore-based listed logistics company in negotiating with the Government of Tianjin Binhai New Area regarding the withdrawal of land use right caused by the 'Tianjin 812 Explosion', and filing a lawsuit for insurance compensation against an insurance company;

4.Representing a Singapore group to acquire Shenzhen Zhongnan Transportation Group (a merger involving 14 subsidiaries). The business involves legal due diligence on 14 subsidiaries, acquisition agreements and related documents drafting, resolution of Chinese legal issues involved in M&A transactions, drafting of relevant documents for application and submission of relevant applications;

5.Assisting an  United States company in establishing a production plant in Jiashan, Zhejiang Province, China, providing a complete set of related services, including negotiating with the government on taxation and government incentives, drafting a series of commercial contracts, drafting application documents related to the establishment of factories, and setting up a complete set of application approval procedures until the business license and relevant licenses and permits for operation were obtained.

6.Assisting a Singapore listed company in acquiring a Shanghai Waigaoqiao Bonded Warehouse  and setting up a subsidiary for that matter

7.Assisting a Singapore listed company and Singapore Environmental Science Engineering Research Institute, in their cooperation with Panzhihua Municipal People's Government of Sichuan Province, to build and operate via franchise the Sichuan Panzhihua Vanadium Titanium Industrial Park Madianhe Industrial Wastewater Treatment Plant;

8.Assisting the Singapore  subsidiary of TATA Group acquiring a Shanghai company;

9.Participating in the IPO of two subsidiaries of a sizable Indonesian group in Suzhou and Kunming in the Indonesia capital market;

10.Participating in the second listing of a Singapore listed company in the Hong Kong capital market;

11.Participating in the IPO of ZTE Technology in the Singapore capital market

12.Providing legal services on loans, guarantees and other Chinese legal issues for domestic and foreign banks such as Citibank, UOB, OCBC Bank and China Merchants Bank.
